Wild Garden Bellydance was founded in November 2006 by Lacey Sanchez under the name "Florida Tribal Dance," with a desire to share the rich and diverse style of Folk Fusion Bellydance with the masses. Since its inception, Wild Garden Bellydance has been dedicated to providing knowledgeable and thoughtful instruction as well as dynamic and exciting performances to our community in Orlando and Central Florida.

We believe that this style is first and foremost about dancing together and with that comes a sense of connection, family and community. Our students are the heart of our school, inspiring us as well as each other through each hip bump mastered and friendship gained.

With a passion for learning we aim to inspire our students through our weekly classes as well as expose them to some of the pioneers and innovators in our unique styles of Bellydance by bringing exceptional instructors from all over the United States right to our city for workshops and intensives that are exclusive to our school.

Performances are looked at as celebrations to showcase to our community and families the love we share for this artform. Every year our dancers take the stage in our Gala performance, A Garden Gala.
Our performance troupes: Aeonium, Blue Caravan, and Silver Sage can also frequently be seen performing throughout Orlando at local events and celebrations.
